The internal Brand and Communications department of Riviera is responsible for creating all brand assets from advertising to brochures to online and direct communications as well as coordinating displays around the world.The department is very active in supporting our dealer network with local campaigns and dealership presentation initiatives.
The department has an extremely busy and committed team managing the studio, web, production management, events and PR aspects of our brand. In essence, it's a fully fledged in-house agency.
Our long-serving head designer is leaving us at the end of the year to relocate interstate and as a result we are now looking for a Senior Art Director and premium brand specialist to work within our highly skilled and passionate team.
The ideal candidate for this role is someone with international luxury brand experience who is able think conceptually and thrives in a team based and fast paced environment. The position is ideal for someone who has at least 10 years experience and is highly skilled with all tools of the trade well (Adobe Creative Suite etc) but is just as comfortable with a layout pad penning and brainstorming new and innovative concepts.
Our department director has an advertising agency background and we want our new candidate to work as a creative team with our director, brainstorming new and innovative concepts to help elevate our brand and marketing to new levels.
The successful candidate will be someone equally at home working on press ads, brochures, point of sale collateral and signage as they are weaving their skills on websites and electronic media … and everything in between. They will be quick, original and can work within tight deadlines while maintaining the highest levels of accuracy. Of course, a genuine love of boating is an distinct advantage.
Most importantly of all, you will be self-directed and self-motivated and be passionate about brand integrity.
This is a full-time position and remuneration will be based on experience and ability. This is an early December start position as we would like to facilitate a professional handover of the role before years end.
