As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for facilitating the smooth running of daily operations with our clients and the success of our PR efforts. The Account Manager is an integral part of the team and is required to work closely with the senior team to develop the culture, performance and delivery of client service for the agency. You will be able to mentor junior team members and strive to add continuous value to clients and teammates alike. You will have the following key areas of responsibility:

  • Account Management
  • Media Relations expert and lead for the team
  • People & Culture
  • Financial Management

Core responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the strategic development of projects and long-term campaigns for all clients in partnership with the senior client lead
  • Effectively work with and manage client teams to ensure that work is being delivered on- time and within budget
  • Work with targeted media and influencers on story/ content development
  • Ensure that the client is well informed at all times in the form of status updates and schedules
  • Manage press office efficiently and nurture key relationships with media
  • Be a proficient writer across all styles of writing including press releases and content calendars
  • Along with the marketing manager, assist in developing social media plans, activity, KPI's and measurements
  • Be a positive role model and mentor for others in the agency

Qualifications

  • Experience in managing small client projects and well accustomed to a client facing role
  • Articulate and confident speaker
  • Experience in managing social media campaigns or community management is a bonus! 
  • The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in developing their skills in social media and PR, have a genuine passion for all things PR/ Social and have a hunger for learning
