Your new role

This role will see the successful candidate take a hands-on approach in the development and implementation of marketing strategy and tactics to support the growth of our mortgage broker numbers, sales enablement to support AFG Home Loans, and our social presence.

Reporting to the National Marketing Manager and working closely with our Home Loans and broker sales teams, this is an exciting opportunity to make your mark across key projects from start to finish and collaborate with key stakeholders within the business and our wider broker network.

The role will suit someone with strong analytical and planning skills who can juggle multiple tasks and competing priorities to help support business growth, someone with exceptional writing skills and creative flair.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Development, implementation and measurement of marketing plans and campaigns to grow our 2800 strong mortgage broker base and to support sales enablement of the AFG Home Loans business.
  • Manage the marketing campaigns to support our business development managers to assist with broker prospecting, recruitment and retention.
  • Content planning and development across AFG’s digital presence and marketing collateral including web, eDM and social
  • Management of AFG’s social media presence
  • Data-driven initiatives and analysis to inform and develop customer pathways, segmented campaign communications and SEO strategies.

 

Who Are You

This role will suit an experienced marketing specialist with significant experience in both B2B and B2C digital marketing, campaign mapping, content creation, lead generation and social.

A demonstrated understanding of both the B2B and B2C sales and marketing realms is essential, as is the ability to interpret consumer insights and market trends.

We’re looking for someone with relevant qualifications in marketing and communications and 4-5 years’ experience in a similar role.    We are looking for someone who has had first hand experience when it comes to data-driven marketing and customer segmentation and someone who enjoys the challenge of morphing product policy documents into compelling sales and marketing materials,

Strong experience across digital is important, and we’re after someone with excellent communication and writing skills given our strong content play.  You will have a proven ability to develop and implement multichannel marketing initiatives, and excel in stakeholder engagement and sales enablement.
