Group Head

M&C Saatchi Group have a new opportunity for a Group Head to lead a key client portfolio, inspire a brilliant team and drive the group to produce brilliant and contagious work.

What'll you'll be responsible for


·       Build and maintain relationships with all senior clients

·       Manage and respond to client expectations and business requirements

·       Identify and communicate to Managing Partner any risk management issues

·       Grow client revenue and convert client budgets to profitable marketing opportunities 



·       Create strategic frameworks for the client business

·       Establish thought leadership to drive strategic advancement

·       Demonstrate and share detailed understanding of new product, media and technology innovation

·       Ensure global and local insights are delivered to client regularly



·       Grow a happy, talented and stable team

·       Build a positive and open environment which focuses on doing brilliant work

·       Provide guidance and mentoring in career development

·       Initiate and manage staff performance appraisals, with regular check-ins



·       Contribute to the creation of award winning, contagious ideas

·       Proactively identify creative opportunities within your client portfolio and work with Creative Directors to explode the thinking



·       Be responsible for accurate resource management on your client group

·       Encourage a collaborative way of working



·       Produce accurate revenue forecasts and lead project and retainer profitability, identifying opportunities to improve

·       Maintain margin through staff cost management

·       Forecast and maintain accurate monthly revenue figures across all production departments

The skills you'll have

·       Deep understanding of brand communication

·       An ideas generator

·       Natural ability to identify and nurture ideas & talent

·       Analytical: Extracting client needs and requirements to scope opportunities


Your education & experience

·       Marketing degree, diploma or equivalent

·       Experience in managing a sizable team

·       At least 10 years in people management
