We are looking for copywriters in all 3 studios - Sydney, Melbourne & Brisbane - to champion the big ideas and maintain the high standard of copywriting. Joining our eclectic and talented team of designers, you’ll be working across a range of writing tasks on a day-to-day basis.
You will be part of a close-knit team and must work closely with designers, account managers and the Creative Director.

Hoyne's culture is fast paced. You need to be able to write long and short form copy across all manner of subjects, not to mention tag lines, positionings and everything in between.

The day-to-day

  • Working with the designers to translate client briefs and creative strategy into original ideas
  • Working across multiple briefs at once
  • Communicating strong rationale for your concepts
  • Copywriting across all launch and ongoing campaign collateral including press ads, hero brochures, DMs and eDMs and microsites, amongst others (short and long form copy)
  • Writing beautiful and thoughtful brand stories, headlines, short form and long form, online and off
  • Conducting research and compiling information in various formats
  • Proofreading creative and client comms

Your Skills and Experience

  • Wizard of original ideas and integrated campaigns
  • Ability to shape visual ideas and design thinking with words
  • A belief in shaping a better world around you
  • Seasoned experience of working in creative agency environment
  • Prolific name generator and rationaliser
  • Ability to proof, edit and be merry
  • Digitally savy and verbally dextrous across all mediums
  • Ability to speak strategy a huge plus
  • Unafraid of clients and presenting big ideas
  • Passion for creative that connects hearts and solves challenges
  • Experience and aptitude for writing long copy
  • Proven experience of conceptual work
